Dr. Michael A. Chambers is married to the former Lizzie B. Davis and a father of four(Nicholas, Nykia, Aja and Sean) and grandfather of two(Summer and Sean). He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Faulkner University, Montgomery Alabama and his Master of Divinity degree from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana. He earned his Doctorate degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, and completed additional graduate hours in business through the University of Baltimore.
Additionally, Dr. Chambers received a certification in community building strategies from the University of Baltimore. He is a Certified Coach, Speaker, and Leadership trainer with John Maxwell Group, Board Certified Chaplain- National Association of Veterans Affairs Chaplains with a specialty in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder , Certified Public Manager – University of Baltimore-Schaffer Center. Currently, he is pursuing a Doctorate degree focused on mental health integration at Vanderbilt University, Nashville Tn.
Dr. Chambers has served as a Senior Pastor in Mississippi, Georgia, Maryland and Florida. He has served in ministry for thirty two years.In addition, Dr. Chambers has held roles as a computer specialist and a Management Information System Director. He serves as a Clinical-Staff Chaplain at the VA Medical Center. Finally, Dr. Chambers is a veteran of the United States Army.
